If, like me, you sleep for eight hours a day, you spend a total of 2,920 hours a year asleep – or more scarily 122 days of the year!
With those figures in mind, surely there is not a single piece of furniture in the home more important than the mattress.
I had old my mattress for around ten years. It was getting lumpy, and sunken.
So when Simba Mattresses called asking me to try out their new Hybrid Mattress I was delighted!
I had heard good things about their products in the past, and was excited to see whether my expectations would be lived up to.
My new mattress arrived less than 48 hours after I ordered it. It came in a handy box which was easy enough to carry upstairs.
Then for the exciting part! I unwrapped the mattress and placed it on my bed.
It was important to let it breath for a few hours before jumping on it – but the temptation was too much!
Oh dear… I must have aged 30 years because I had the best afternoon nap ever!
And likewise, that night, I fell asleep again with ease.
I was surprised! I expected the mattress to maybe take a few days to bed in, but it was comfy from the start.
Another amazing feature of the Simba mattress is that it comes with a zip-off top which can be cleaned and replaced if necessary.
I am so clumsy, last year I spilled a cup of coffee all over my bed. It stained by old mattress. Although I will try to be more careful with my hands this time, it’s a relief to know the cover can come off and be washed.
A week has passed now since I first tried my Simba mattress. I can see myself sleeping on this for years to come.
I’ve let my sister have my old lumpy, coffee stained mattress. But hopefully after reading this she too will see the benefits of Simba.
For the first time in a long while, I actually look forward to going to sleep! Speaking of which…. I have an appointment with my bed.
