Emma, who has two children, Beau, 5, and Tate, 2, with long-term partner Jade Jones, reveals seeing William and Kate await their first child brings back fond memories of her own pregnancy, and watching the Royal Wedding in April 2011.

“I remember being heavily pregnant myself and watching the joyous occasion of when William and Kate married,” the former Spice Girl says.

“It will be a special day for them again and for the entire nation!”

The mum-of-two remembers one exciting meeting with the royals at Prince Charles’ estate Highgrove “eating cucumber sandwiches,” and recalls being shown around the magnificent gardens as a “highlight” of the day.

After getting to know Prince Charles and his two sons, Emma was able to lend her support to the Prince’s Trust, the charity set up by Charles which supports young people. “Becoming an ambassador for the Prince’s Trust is something I am most proud of,” the singer-turned-presenter reveals.

“The work they do supporting young people practically as well as financially is absolutely amazing.

“Their help gives young people the confidence to carry on with further education or training in whatever profession they want to be in,” Emma says, adding “It is a truly wonderful organisation”.

Emma, who was known as Baby Spice during the 90’s, recently got the chance to represent Britain when the Spice Girls reunited for the London Olympics 2012 closing ceremony, which was watched by over a billion people around the world.

Prince Harry and the Duchess of Cambridge, attended the show representing the Queen and watched on as Emma dazzled the crowds in a sparkling pink dress, arriving in a London cab, alongside her four bandmates. After the performance Emma described the event as a career “highlight”.

Now that, for the time being, Emma has put away her platforms and diamond microphones, the mother of two boys has put her time and effort into designing a children’s clothes line with Argos. “I was given the opportunity to design children’s clothes and babywear for the company, it is something I had always wanted to do!”

She reveals the process was about designing pieces that were “comfortable” and ones that children would love to wear. “We focused on soft fabrics, great colours and fun prints”.

“I wanted to make sure babies were comfortable,” she explains. “For girls, I wanted them to feel like Princesses in their party dresses”.

Emma, ends her thoughts saying William and Kate have “so many special times ahead” and says she’ll be sending “so much love to the new family”.

Royal Central have picked out two of her designs that could be perfect for a little Prince or Princess.
