The Prince and Princess of Wales join The King and Queen at Royal Ascot

The Prince and Princess of Wales have made their debut at the 2023 Royal Ascot meeting.

Their Royal Highnesses joined The King and Queen at the Berkshire racecourse, much to the delight of the crowd.

Prince William and Catherine arrived at Royal Ascot in the second carriage of the procession alongside Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

The Duke & Duchess of Devonshire accompanied The King and Queen in the first carriage of the procession.

Meanwhile, in the third carriage was the Duchess of Edinburgh and Prince & Princess Michael of Kent. They were joined by the Earl of Caledon.

Finally, in the fourth carriage was national treasure and racehorse owner, Dame Judi Dench.

She was joined by David Mills and Mr & Mrs William Farrish.

Later in the day, the Prince & Princess of Wales will present the trophy to the winners of the Commonwealth Cup.

The Duchess of Edinburgh will also make a trophy presentation, handing the prize to the winners of the Duke of Edinburgh stakes.
