Royal history is peppered with drama and intrigue, containing more than its fair share of tragic ends and tumultuous traumas so it’s perhaps no surprise that there are plenty of ghost tales to go with it. From haunted historic homes to kings, queens, princes and princess who are said to return to palaces they once ruled, every dynasty has a dire ditty or three to tell.
As Hallowe’en approaches we’ll be sharing some of the most intriguing royal ghost stories of them all, here on Royal Central.
