Security drill conducted at the Swedish Royal Palace

On 14 November at 6:00 pm Stockholm time, security exercises were performed at the Swedish Royal Palace per press releases from the Swedish Royal Court and the Swedish Police. The exercise was performed inside the palace and in the outer and inner courtyards of the palace.

Personnel from the Stockholm police, the Swedish Security Service, the Swedish Royal House, armed forces, rescue services, and medical staff participated in the drills. The scenario simulated was the coordinated response to a serious incident should it occur at the Royal Palace. The exercises included the firing of blank shots.

The exercises were successfully completed at 8:00 pm Stockholm time on 14 November.
