Princess Madeleine shares unseen photos from 2013 wedding

Princess Madeleine of Sweden has shared previously unseen images from her 2013 wedding to American-British financier Chris O’Neill.

The Princess posted the photos on her personal Instagram account, showing photographs inside Stockholm and Drottningholm palaces, where she was getting ready and the reception. Two of the snaps show Princess Madeleine and Chris dancing during the evening, while two others feature the couple during the wedding dinner.

The images were taken by Brigitte Grenfeldt.

Madeleine said on Instagram: “A look back to some private moments that I cherish from our wedding, ten years ago today. ❤️”

The photos from the reception have been revealed a few years after Princess Madeleine said she wished her reception had been televised because the speeches from her family and Chris were so touching.

Princess Madeleine and Chris O’Neill married on 8 June 2013 in the Royal Chapel of Stockholm Palace. Their wedding reception was held at Drottningholm Palace.

The couple now have three children, Princess Leonore (b. 2014), Prince Nicolas (b. 2015) and Princess Adrienne (b. 2018).

The family has been living in Miami, Florida, for the past few years; however, they will be officially relocating to Sweden in the autumn. They were present for National Day celebrations on 6 June when Sweden marked 500 years as an independent country.
