Prince Oscar of Sweden’s school revealed

Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden have revealed where their son, Prince Oscar, 6, will attend school.

He will join his older sister, Princess Estelle, at Campus Manilla in Stockholm.

The Information Manager at the Royal Court, Margareta Thorgren, confirmed the school to Svenskdam saying, “Prince Oscar will attend Campus Manilla, that is, the same school as Princess Estelle.”

The young Prince will begin school next Thursday, 18 August. Oscar will be in grade zero – meaning preschool. Children do not start compulsory schooling in Sweden until age seven.

There will be no photo call on his first day of school – unlike when big sister Estelle began school there in August 2018.

It is possible the Crown Princess and Prince Daniel will release a photo from his first day of school to the media, but unlike his older sister, who will one day be queen, he will not face the cameras as he starts his schooling.

Prince Oscar had been attending the Montessori preschool Lilla Kvikkjokk since he was one and a half. He began preschool in the autumn of 2017.
