Prince Daniel not forgotten ahead of 50th birthday

Prince Daniel of Sweden may celebrate his 50th birthday on his father-in-law’s Golden Jubilee, but that doesn’t mean the Royal Family and Sweden have forgotten him during this time of celebration.

The Royal Court released three new photos of the Prince before his birthday on 15 September.

They also announced that those wanting to send a gift to the Prince should donate to Princess Estelle’s Cultural Foundation or Generation Pep instead. Prince Daniel has a strong commitment to both organisations.

More information on donating can be found here and here.

Prince Daniel was born Olof Daniel Westling on 15 September 1973 in Örebro to Olle and Ewa Westling – the same day his future father-in-law ascended the throne. He was a personal trainer before he married Crown Princess Victoria in 2010. They now have two children, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar.
