Princess Leonor follows the summer trend and wears pink to watch Barbie

It’s become the cinema style statement of the summer – see Barbie, wear pink. And Spain’s future queen was right on trend as she headed to the movies in Mallorca with her family to take in this season’s biggest hit.

Princess Leonor chose a bright pink dress for her night at the cinema. Meanwhile her sister, Infanta Sofia, hinted at the trend in a white mini dress with pink print.

The family are enjoying their summer holidays on the island ahead of big changes. Princess Leonor starts military training in Zaragoza on August 17th 2023 while Infanta Sofia is set to fly to Wales to take up a two year course at UWC Atlantic College where her big sister has just finished studying.

King Felipe and Queen Letizia kept well away from the pink trend on their night out, opting for white shirts and trousers. Queen Sofia was in green.

The Spanish Royal Family traditionally spend the first weeks of the summer on Mallorca.
