Princess Ingrid-Alexandra of Norway joined her grandparents and parents for her first ever State Dinner in Oslo, and she passed the evening with flying colours!
King Harald and Queen Sonja hosted Icelandic President Halla Tómasdóttir for a three day state visit. The King and Queen of Norway were joined by Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, and Princess Ingrid-Alexandra for the State Dinner at the Royal Palace as the glittering visit got into full swing.
Princess Ingrid Alexandra cut an elegant figure with her gown choice. The light blue, short-sleeved gown has several ruffled layers on the skirt. From Danish designer Old Yde, Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore the gown to Crown Princess Victoria’s 2010 wedding.

Princess Ingrid Alexandra wore a sentimental tiara, the Boucheron Pearl Circle Tiara. The tiara has sweeping diamond curves – ironically no actual circles – with three large round pearl elements and two smaller pearls.
Boucheron created the tiara in 1900 where it was displayed at the Exposition Universelle in Paris. Princess Ingeborg of Sweden and Denmark received the tiara as a gift. Princess Ragnhild of Norway inherited the piece from her grandmother; Ragnhild’s family gifted the tiara to Princess Ingrid Alexandra in 2022 on her eighteenth birthday.
Her Royal Highness also wore another meaningful gift; the President of Iceland bestowed the Order of the Falcon on the young princess at the start of the visit. The chivalric order is the only Icelandic order of its kind and dates back to 1921.
