Countess Eloise to undertake make-up battle

Countess Eloise is poised to judge a Dutch make-up competition premiering later this month in the Netherlands.

In Nikkie de Jager’s show, ‘Nikkie’s Make-Up Mansion’, ten young creative professionals who want to make a career in the make-up industry compete in a series of challenges to ultimately win the prize. de Jager is a popular make-up personality who posts tutorials on social media as NikkieTutorials.

Eloise was announced as one of the judges in the show’s press release through distributor AVROTROS.

“The ten participants are amazed when they enter the threshold of Nikkie’s mansion. A private make-up booth with mirror, a chill corner for socializing and Nikkie’s desk where she assesses the make-up looks,” the release states.

“Each episode focuses on a theme, and a guest is present to help Nikkie with the assessment. For the assignments, the participants make a trip to various locations together to gain inspiration. During a street art tour they come up with the most creative ideas for their graffiti look and with a visit backstage at a drag show, the concepts for the assignment about drag immediately pop up.”

Eloise will judge, alongside Edsilia Rombley, Robbert Rodenburg, and Bente Fokkens during the eight-week competition.

‘Nikkie’s Make-Up Mansion’ will begin airing on 14 January on AVROTROS and run for eight weeks after.

Eloise is a noted influencer in the Netherlands, having released her first lifestyle book last summer, Learning By Doing. At the time, the young royal said, “I am so happy with it, and I am so proud of it. I hope that you will like it as much as I do. I can’t believe that it’s finally here.”

She added in the book, “My message is above all: do your thing and be yourself. That’s how I live myself.”

Eloise is the eldest child of Prince Constantijn and Princess Laurentien of the Netherlands and is the niece of King Willem-Alexander.
