Count Claus-Casimir, the only son of Prince Constantijn and Princess Laurentien of the Netherlands, will finish his schooling at Gordonstoun international boarding school in Scotland.
The 16-year-old has already travelled to Scotland and will be in quarantine for two weeks, as is required by the UK, before he can attend classes in person. Until then, he will attend classes virtually. His mother accompanied him to the UK earlier this week.
The Government Information Service (RVD) confirmed the news Wednesday saying he was to transfer to the Scottish boarding school. They did not provide further information, according to the Dutch media.
The Count had been attending VCL in The Hague.
Count Claus-Casimir is the nephew of King Willem-Alexander and the only grandson of Princess (former Queen) Beatrix. He is a member of the Royal Family but not of the Royal House. He is sixth in the line of succession to the Dutch throne.
Gordonstoun alumni include the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales, Duke of York, Earl of Wessex and Crown Prince Alexander of Serbia.
