Queen Mary of Denmark embraces summer look as she heads back to work after holidays

Queen Mary of Denmark is back to work after her summer holidays with a visit to a new counselling centre. 

Her Majesty officially cut the ribbon at Headspace Tårnby, a new space that will offer support to 12 to 25 year olds. The centre will offer free and anonymous counselling to young people in order to reduce the barriers that they might face when seeking mental health support. 

She was also welcomed with a song, “You came with all that was you”. 

Although she is back to work, Queen Mary chose a summer look for her engagement. 

Her navy and white striped linen suit is from Polo Ralph Lauren. The jacket has a strong silhouette with notched lapels and a belt to define the wait. The wide-legged trousers have a high waist and are inspired by menswear. 

She has worn the suit each summer since 2023, making it the perfect summer choice. 

As she often does, Queen Mary turned to Gianvito Rossi for her shoes. She wore the Asia 70 sandals in tan, with an open toe. 

Queen Mary also wore several pieces of jewellery from Danish designers. She wore a colourful bracelet from Dulong Fine Jewellery, a slim diamond and gold bracelet from Rebekka Notkin, and the Marrakech pendant necklace from Louise Grønlykke.
