Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine kick-off 2022 with school and birthday

Crown Prince Frederik, Prince Vincent, Princess Josephine support the Royal Run

The Danish Crown Prince Family has an exciting week ahead of them.

All children will start school again after Christmas break, but sadly, the next few weeks will be marked by legal restrictions associated with the global health crisis. It should be extra exciting for the royal twins, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine, who also have their birthday this week.

On 3 January, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine began school with friends in the 4th grade. Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine, who are used to online teaching, have started their first school week in 2022. The twins are taking classes from home because of the COVID challenges in Denmark, but hopefully, like many other schoolchildren, they can return to their classrooms and friends soon.

Crown Princess Mary and Crown Prince Frederik’s youngest children have just begun their last week as ten-year-olds. On Saturday, 8 January, the twins will celebrate their 11th birthday, and this will naturally be celebrated with the family.

The celebration of the royal twins will be completely private, and there is no doubt that it will be a pleasant day for the attendants and their loved ones.

Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine are students in fourth grade at Tranegårdskolen in Hellerup in northern Copenhagen. Princess Isabella is also a student there; the 14-year-old Princess is in the eighth grade.

Prince Vincent Frederik Minik Alexander of Denmark, Count of Monpezat and Princess Josephine Sophia Ivalo Mathilda, Countess of Monpezat, were born on 8 January 2011. They are the third and fourth children of Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary, making them grandchildren of Queen Margrethe II and the late Prince Henrik.

Prince Vincent is fourth in line to the Danish throne, after his father, older brother, Prince Christian, and older sister, Princess Isabella. Princess Josephine is the fifth in line to the Danish throne.
