Crown Princess Mary of Denmark has shared a hopeful message on behalf of her foundation, the Mary Foundation, as 2023 quickly draws to a close.
The Danish Royal Family has shared a message from the Mary Foundation’s report that highlights our continual need for genuine human connection. The annual report serves to look back at the year that has passed and the year that is to come.
The Mary Foundation’s 2023 was quite a busy year, which is normal for the organisation. In addition to continuing on several existing projects, the foundation also launched two new projects. The Lift initiative works to help provide support for lonely young people, while the Sammen Uden Vold project is working to identify families with young children that have suffered violence in order to help provide a more stable and peaceful upbringing for children.Â
On 20 December, DetDanskeKongehus on Instagram shared the following message from Crown Princess Mary: ”We need each other if we want to succeed. And this does not only apply to working life and to those of us who work to combat social isolation. It applies to all of us. People need people.”
