King Frederik and Queen Mary have arrived in Berlin for a two day visit to Germany marking the start of the monarch’s reign.
German President, Franz-Walter Steinmeier, officially welcomed the Danish king and queen to Germany with a ceremony at Schloss Bellevue.

Joined by Danish Foreign Minister, Lars Lokke Rasmussen, they spent time informally chatting with the German President and his partner, Elke Budenender.
The first day included traditional elements such as a visit to the German parliament at the Reichstag and a banquet in the evening.

She wore a pale blue wrapped blouse and a midi-skirt with a tan and blue cane pattern. To finish the look, she chosen a robin’s egg blue open coat and co-ordinating wrapped headband.

King Frederik and Queen Mary will be joined by Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden and Crown Prince Haakon Magnus and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway at a celebration and dinner for the 25th anniversary of the Nordic embassy complex in Berlin.
