Denmark’s Crown Prince Family has shared new images and a video from their summer stay at Gråsten Palace in the Jutland region in southern Denmark.
The photos were taken by Crown Princess Mary and the Royal House and feature the family of four relaxing and horseback riding at the palace.
The Instagram post says: “A couple of wonderful memories from the summer in the beautiful Graasten.
“With the desire for a continued good summer – preferably with a little more sunshine.”
“Graasten” is one of two spellings of the palace’s name.
Gråsten Palace is the summer residence of the Danish Royal Family, and Queen Margrethe will join her elder son and his family on 21 July at the home. She has been residing at Marselisborg Palace for the past few months.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Danish health guidelines, the usual Friday parades with public access will not be allowed. The press will also not be allowed to be in the courtyard during the noon Changing of the Guard.
