Larissa: The Lost Romanov – now streaming on True Royalty

Larissa: The Lost Romanov is now live on True Royalty. It’s an hour-long documentary on the Romanov family whether or not they were all killed by the Bolsheviks.

The documentary starts with an explanation of who the Imperial Family was and what has been taught that happened to them. It then turns and reveals a different theory than what most have been taught.

It talks about a covert mission by British Military Intelligence, on orders of King George V, that rescued one of the grand duchesses, but not the one that has made headlines over the years. This time the story focuses on either Grand Duchess Maria or Tatiana and whether or not she was rescued and became Larissa Tudor.

It also focuses on the story of Anastasia – most prominently Anna Anderson who claimed to be the deceased royal and another woman who pretended to be Tatiana. The latter was killed in her home with many believing it was done by the Bolsheviks.

As a lover of history, I’ve always found the story of the Imperial Family of Russia and their demise tragic but fascinating. So, this documentary really caught my eye, and I really enjoyed hearing a theory I’d not heard of before.

Now, whether or not to believe the theory laid out by 2019’s Larissa: The Lost Romanov is up to you!
