Wedding bells for the Royal Family as Lady Sarah Chatto’s elder son announces his engagement

Lady Sarah Chatto

The eldest grandson of Princess Margaret has announced he is getting married.

Samuel Chatto, 29, and Eleanor Eskerdjan revealed their wedding plans on July 13.

The couple, who have been dating for several years, said they will tie the knot in the spring of 2027.

And they showed off a very unusual engagement ring as they made their announcement.

Eleanor now wears a pale porcelain band, shaped in a knot, as the sign of their impending marriage.

Samuel Chatto is the first son of Lady Sarah Chatto and her husband, Daniel. Lady Sarah is Princess Margaret’s only daughter.

He is often seen as wider Royal Family gatherings such as Christmas celebrations at Sandringham.

Both Samuel and Eleanor are artists and enjoy successful careers.

It’s expected that The King and Queen and the Royal Family will turn out in force for the wedding.

King Charles remains close to his cousin, Lady Sarah, and her brother, the Earl of Snowdon, and both were recently invited to take part in the carriage procession at Royal Ascot, indicating their strong bond with the Monarch.
