Royal bride to be, Harriet Sperling, was at Windsor for the Easter celebrations with just weeks to go until her wedding to The King’s nephew, Peter Phillips.

Harriet and Peter, who announced their wedding date just a few days ago, walked down the hill from Windsor Castle to St. George’s Chapel with the Royal Family ahead of the Easter Sunday morning service.

They were joined by Peter Phillips’ two daughters, 15 year old Savannah, and Isla, who recently turned 14, as well as Harriet’s teenage daughter.

it was a chance for Harriet to spend Easter with her soon to be mother in law, Princess Anne, who also walked with the Royal Family to church. Her husband, Sir Tim Laurence, was with her. Her daughter, Zara Tindall, and her family didn’t join the royals this Easter.

Also missing was the Duchess of Edinburgh. Sophie is understood to be a little poorly. Her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, and their son, the Earl of Wessex, did attend. However, Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor wasn’t there as she continues her final studies at St. Andrew’s University.

The Prince and Princess of Wales led the royal party down the hill to the chapel. Prince George, almost as tall as his mum, Kate, shared a joke with dad, William. Princess Charlotte looked after Prince Louis who got a special greeting from his grandfather. As King Charles made his way into the chapel, he stopped to give seven year old Louis a pat.

The two have a famously strong bond and have shared several sweet public moments including Louis insisting on sitting on his grandpa’s lap at the concert held to mark the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in June 2022.

King Charles and Queen Camilla arrived at St. George’s Chapel by car and led the Royal Family into the church service.

At the end, The King and Queen emerged to meet the crowd of wellwishers who were waiting for them.. Queen Camilla, who was presented with a bouquet of spring flowers as she left St. George’s Chapel, wished them all Happy Easter before starting her walkabout.

The King and Queen later returned to the castle by car while their family walked back up the hill. Harriet Sperling and Peter Phillips strolled hand in hand as they began the final countdown to their wedding.

They announced that their marriage will take place at All Saints Church in Kemble, near Cirencester in Gloucestershire, on June 6. It’s close to Gatcombe Park, the estate where Princess Anne lives and where both her children, Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall, have homes.
