Princess Charlene of Monaco was pretty in pink as she marked one of the biggest moments in her husband’s reign.

The Princess joined Albert II for spectacular celebrations held as he reached 20 years as Sovereign of Monaco.

For the event, which saw big crowds gather to party with the Prince and Princess, Charlene turned to Oscar de la Renta.

The 47 year old chose a striking pale pink midi length dress with asymmetrical skirt for the celebrations.

The ‘Cherry Guipure Lace Midi Dress’ features an eye catching cut out detail on the tiers of the skirt.

Princess Charlene wore a pair of low heeled white slingbacks with the dress, her own version of Monaco’s national colours of red and white.

Her ten year old daughter, Princess Gabriella, was in a pretty white dress and added her own party touch with a garland of pale pink flower sin her hair.

Meanwhile, Prince Albert and Prince Jacques matched in dark suits.

The celebrations saw Prince Albert make an emotional speech which saw him wipe away tears before cutting a giant cake covered in red and white macarons.

Albert II became Prince of Monaco in 2005 on the death of his father, Prince Rainier III.
