The Queen has taken the salute as Trooping the Colour ended from the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
The salute at the parade ground was taken by the Prince of Wales, accompanied by the Duke of Cambridge and the Princess Royal.
Over 1200 military marched down the Mall towards the Palace following the end of the ceremony at Horse Guards. As they approached the royal residence, The Queen appeared on the balcony along with her cousin, the Duke of Kent, to take a salute.
Earlier, the Duchess of Cornwall and the Duchess of Cambridge had led the royal procession to Horse Guards in a carriage along with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
The Earl and Countess of Wessex and their children were also in the procession with the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and Vice Admiral Tim Laurence in the third coach.
The traditional Sovereign’s Birthday Parade began the Platinum Jubilee celebrations with hundreds of thousands of people making their way to central London for the festivities.
