The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are hiring a diary organiser

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are hiring a diary coordinator to help them with their complex diaries and schedules, and if you’re interested, you’d better apply soon!

William and Kate are looking for a permanent addition to their Kensington Palace team. Duties include “compiling and managing coordinated diary updates and weekly overviews; providing regular briefings; communicating diary changes to all key stakeholders, both internally and externally; and carrying out follow-up actions as necessary, as well as ensuring that all events and engagements are accurately recorded,” according to the job posting.

The ideal candidate “will have a proven ability to manage complex diaries and will have excellent communication skills.”

The Cambridges are also looking for a “team player” who is able to “develop strong working relationships at all levels and with all stakeholders.” The ideal candidate must also use initiative and be proactive in working under pressure and with a demanding workload.

And, of course, “the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times is paramount.”

Though the salary is not disclosed, the post-deadline is 22 July.

William and Kate will likely have a busy end to 2019, with news that the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will split over the summer months after a review of its structure and work, and the announcement of an official visit to Pakistan this fall requiring the help of a diarist.

When the Royal Foundation’s split was announced in June, the press release revealed that it would “become the principal charitable and philanthropic vehicle for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.”

It was also revealed earlier this year that in August the Cambridges will take part in the first ever The King’s Cup regatta to benefit eight of their chosen patronages.

If you’re interested in applying, the posting is active through The Royal Family’s job posting portal.
