2 days to go: Wedding rehearsal takes place and Meghan’s mother meets The Royal family

Meghan Markle’s mother Doria Ragland has arrived in London a couple of days ahead of the wedding of her daughter and Prince Harry. It has now been revealed that Doria has already met several senior Royal Family members and is scheduled to meet The Queen soon. Also taking place today was the Royal Wedding rehearsal.

Yesterday Meghan’s mother Doria was seen arriving in the UK after leaving her home in Los Angeles. There was no time for jetlag as shortly after her flight landed, she met with Harry’s father, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall. It is reported Doria had tea with Charles and Camilla at Clarence House.

Today the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were pictured arriving at Windsor Castle to attend the wedding rehearsal. Even though the past few days haven’t been easy for Meghan, she and her soon-to-be husband looked very happy and relaxed ahead of their big day. It was also the first time the Duchess of Cambridge has been spotted in public since giving birth to Prince Louis last month.

The military rehearsal also took place today as a dress rehearsal of the carriage procession was held. Bystanders in Winsor were able to watch the Travelling Escort of the Household Cavalry pass by. On Saturday more than 250 members of the Armed Forces will provide ceremonial support at the Royal Wedding. Several of the units and regiments taking part have a special relationship with Prince Harry.

Her Majesty travelled from Buckingham Palace to Windsor in the early afternoon. Her Majesty has now taken up residence in Windsor as the Royal Standard was hung.

Earlier today Ms. Ragland reportedly also met Harry’s brother and sister-in-law, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as well as Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Meghan’s mother Doria is also expected to join her daughter and Prince Harry for tea with the Queen at Windsor Castle tomorrow. It will be the first time the Queen meets Doria Ragland.
