Prince Harry watches England triumph over France in the Six Nations at Twickenham

The Duke of Sussex watched England triumph over France in the Six Nations tournament on Sunday at Twickenham Stadium in London.

England beat France 44-8 following a dominant performance which saw the home side lead 30-8 at the end of the first half.

Jonny May scored three tries within the first 30 minutes of play becoming the first England player to score a hat-trick against France since 1924.

Next week, England will take on Wales at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

Before the match began, Prince Harry, who is Patron of the Rugby Football Union (RFU), met a number of guests including three nominees from the Mitsubishi Motors Volunteer Recognition Programme.

This scheme was designed in association with the RFU to provide grassroots rugby clubs, constituent bodies and societies with opportunities to recognise and reward volunteers who play a vital, but often unrecognised role in the game.

The 34-year-old also met a group of children from schools taking part in the CBRE All Schools programme. This scheme aims to increase the amount of rugby in secondary state schools, ensuring more children have access to rugby and to encourage children to join their local clubs.

Prince Harry became Patron of the Rugby Football Union in 2016, taking over from his grandmother The Queen.

Her Majesty was Patron of the RFU for 64 years, having taken over from her father in 1952.
