Duchess Down Under: Meghan in Melbourne

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex headed to Melbourne for the third day of their visit to Australia, and Meghan debuted two new dresses for a day of engagements that saw them attend a reception at Government House, visit a café and a school, chatting with students on a tram ride, and hitting the beach.

Meghan’s first look of the day was a sleeveless navy-blue asymmetrically-folded A-line dress by Australian designer Dion Lee, from an upcoming collection that was available for pre-order following Meghan wearing it.

The dress will be available in December or January, in either black or navy-blue.

Meghan paired the dress with the trench coat she wore on the first day of the tour, carried a Gucci Sylvie shoulder bag in chain-embellished leather, and sported a pair of Manolo Blahnik navy heels.

She wore a gold and diamond bangle and a shell necklace that had been given to her by a young boy during the walkabout to start the day.

For later events, Meghan wore a black Club Monaco dress – one of her preferred labels – with gold button embellishments on the sides; and swapped out the heels for a pair of black flats by Rothy’s.
