Princess Charlotte has quickly become a favourite royal with the public and the press alike. The pint-sized princess often steals the show with her smiles and waves. And there is no better place to see her in her element than as a bridesmaid. Charlotte, who will be four-years-old in May, has now been a bridesmaid four different times.

The wedding of Pippa Middleton and James Matthews:
Charlotte’s first bridesmaid role was for her aunt’s wedding. Pippa Middleton married James Matthews on 20 May 2017 at St Mark’s Church in Englefield, near the Middleton’s Bucklebury home. Charlotte was one of four bridesmaids for Pippa, and her older brother, Prince George, was one of four pageboys. At only two-years-old, Charlotte stuck close to her mother, but she still looked adorable. Charlotte and the other bridesmaids wore custom-made cream dresses that had a dusty pink sash, to match their light pink Mary Jane shoes. Her look was finished with a flower crown.
The wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle:
Charlotte’s second bridesmaid role was for her uncle, Prince Harry, at his wedding to Meghan Markle on 19 May 2018. One of the biggest royal events since her parents’ wedding in 2011, Charlotte was on the main stage at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. With 18 million people watching the wedding online, she wore a dress from Givenchy Haute Couture Atelier, Aquazzura shoes – which were a gift from her future aunt – and a flower crown again. One of six bridesmaids at the wedding, she was joined by Jessica Mulroney’s daughter, Ivy. Prince George was also a pageboy for Harry and Meghan.
Sophie Carter and Robert Snuggs
Although there are no official photographs, Charlotte served as a bridesmaid to Catherine’s good friend, Sophie Carter, when she married Robert Snuggs. At St Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Norfolk on 22 September 2018, Prince George stole much of the attention with his funny faces. Charlotte, however, was happy to stay in her mother’s and Sophie’s arms (who is also her godmother). She wore a white linen dress with blue embroidered details from designer Amaia and a flower crown for the wedding.
Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank
On 12 October 2018 at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, Charlotte was bridesmaid to Princess Eugenie, her father’s cousin. A true family affair, Mia Tindall (daughter of Zara and Mike Tindall), Savannah and Isla Phillips (daughters of Peter and Autumn Phillips), and Maud Windsor (daughter of Lord and Lady Frederick Windsor), as well as Theodora Rose Williams (daughter of singer Robbie Williams). Prince George also joined his sister in the wedding party, and Charlotte helpfully told the other bridesmaids when to wait and what to do. Dressed in a white Amaia dress, the sash was a bright, abstract green print, and her hair was adorned at the back with a small floral piece.
Although she was quite shy when she first was a bridesmaid in 2017, Princess Charlotte is now a confident and precocious young royal who steals the show as a bridesmaid. From pulling faces to always giving a wave, royal watchers are bound to see a show from Charlotte.
