Legoland hold birthday party for Prince George

<![CDATA[In celebration of his first birthday on Tuesday, Legoland Windsor Resort have marked Prince George's special day with a very special party scene.
In an addition to the already prominent scene of Buckingham Palace, the party set-up sees Prince George accompanied by recreations of his parents, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and grandparents, Prince Charles and Camilla, and Michael and Carole Middleton.
Also attending the birthday party at the Windsor theme park are George's great-grandparents, Her Majesty The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh, uncle Prince Harry and auntie Pippa Middleton, and a few corgis!

Although it is a spectacular display, the ‘Birthday Party’, sees Prince George made out of as few as 15 Lego bricks and his birthday cake stand at just 3cm tall.
Legoland’s Divisional Director commented that visitors to the park “absolutely love” the scene adding, “We have a lot of fun with our tiny Lego Royals- we recently gave our Royal ladies a Royal Ascot makeover with bespoke hats designed exclusively for us by the Queen’s milliner. Our announcement last year of Prince George’s birth was a real crowd pleaser”.
The scene also contains everything you would want at a first birthday party, with balloons, presents, birthday hats and a cake, it sure makes for an brilliant royal shindig.
On Saturday 19th July an official picture of Prince George was released ahead of his birthday on Tuesday. Two more official pictures are to be released later this evening, on the eve of his 1st birthday.
Visitors to Legoland will be able to see the exhibit throughout the summer and one can assume that should The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge decide to make a spontaneous visit to the park with George, the ‘Birthday Party’ scene will be their first port of call.
