New photo of Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark released in celebration of 50th birthday today

A new photo was released this morning by the Royal Danish House of Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark in celebration of his 50th birthday today. It was taken by Franne Voigt.

This isn’t the first image released by the Danish Royal House for Frederik’s 50th birthday. Two others were released earlier this year; one shows the Crown Prince in his gala uniform while the other shows him in civilian wear.

Celebrations have been taking place for several days in Denmark. On 18 May, Crown Prince Frederik hosted a special award ceremony for the Crown Prince Frederik Fund, and on 21 May, Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary and their four children took part in the Royal Run race event. The 22 May saw a reception for His Royal Highness’s patronages on the Dannebrog yacht with the Crown Prince Couple visiting Aarhus the following day. They visited Filmby Aarhus, where Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary will be introduced to the city’s film, business and entrepreneurial environment.
