Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank make their first joint appearance together at Easter church service

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank have made their first official joint public appearance together on Sunday as they both attended the traditional Easter Day church service at Windsor Castle.

Eugenie, who turned 28-years-old last week, walked into St George’s Chapel behind The Princess Royal and Sir Tim Laurence with Peter and Autumn Philips following behind them.

Also attending the service were the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Princess Beatrice, the Wessex family, Zara Tindall and of course Her Majesty The Queen.

The Duke of Edinburgh has been forced to pull out of attending the service. He was suffering from a hip problem last week, and it is likely that he has still not fully recovered.

Absent from the church service were Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Both Harry & Meghan and Eugenie and Jack will marry at St George’s Chapel later this year. The Queen’s grandson will marry his American fiancee in May, whereas The Queen’s granddaughter will marry her long time partner in October.

The wedding of Eugenie and Jack is expected to be a private family affair and smaller than the wedding of her cousin Prince Harry.

The couple has been together for seven years before becoming engaged while on holiday in Nicaragua at the beginning of 2018. The pair didn’t need permission from Her Majesty The Queen to get married as the rule applies only to the first six in line to the throne.

Princess Eugenie currently sits in eighth place, but she will be bumped down a spot upon the birth of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s third child in April.
