Princess Beatrice’s wedding photos are released

Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have shared the first images of their surprise wedding.

The couple married on July 17th 2020 at the Royal Chapel of All Saints in the grounds of the Windsor estate. The official photos were taken immediately after the 11am ceremony.

One official photo shows the couple with The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, albeit at a safe social distance from each other.

Beatrice’s father, the Duke of York, does not appear in any of the official photographs.

Beatrice and Edoardo’s wedding was an extremely low key affair, with news of the marriage not being made public until after the ceremony concluded.

The wedding pictures show that Beatrice wore the Queen Mary’s Fringe tiara, the very same headpiece worn by The Queen on her wedding day in 1947.

The couple decided not to share their wedding photos until the weekend following their celebrations so as not to overshadow the investiture ceremony of NHS fundraiser, Captain Sir Tom Moore, which took place at Windsor on the same day as their marriage.
