Duchess of Cambridge and Prince George return to the UK from family holiday

<![CDATA[The Duchess of Cambridge and Prince George have returned home after enjoying a family holiday with the Middletons.
Kate, 32, and six-month-old arrived back in the UK after spending a week in the Carribean where they helped mark Carole Middleton's birthday.
Last week, the proud parent was spotted beaming with pride as she changed planes, with mother Carole and brother James, on the way to the beautiful island of Mustique. Holding Prince George, the Duchess looked overjoyed to be taking he future king on his first holiday abroad.

Prince William, meanwhile, had to remain in the UK as he continues to complete his agricultural studies at Cambridge University, which he started earlier this year.
“They enjoyed their break immensely but of course they missed having William with them,” a royal source added.
Kate’s arrival back in London is in time for her first engagement of the year which takes place next week as she attends the Portrait Gala 2014.
The dedicated Duchess will be guest of honour at the annual event, which will take place at the National Portrait Gallery on February 11.
During the reception, Kate, who recently celebrated a thousand days as The Duchess of Cambridge, will meet guests including David Bailey, Olympic Gold medalist Katherine Grainger and Jonathan Yeo.
Three days later, on February 14, she will spend Valentine’s Day away from Prince William as she officially opens the new IPAC Art Room at Northolt High School in Ealing.
