The Duchess of Sussex jetted off to Toronto last week for a short, but sweet visit with her close friend, Jessica Mulroney.
Arriving via Air Canada on Tuesday, 21 August, the Duchess blended in with passengers trying not to draw attention to herself.
She was dressed in skinny black jeans, a black cashmere sweater, black ballerina flats and a black baseball cap pulled down over her face.
Speaking exclusively to Royal Central, a source aboard the plane said: “Meghan was lovely.
“She had two secret service guys with her, but it was all very low key.”
The source continued: “Meghan had one glass of champagne before settling down to watch Book Club.
“She seemed very relaxed and sipped on peppermint tea during the journey.”
Meghan stayed with Jessica and Ben Mulroney and their three children, twin boys Brian and John and daughter, Ivy.
Royal correspondent, Omid Scobie reported that Meghan and Jessica “spent their days catching up, lounging poolside and playing with [the] children.”
A source added that the children “love seeing their Auntie Meg.”
In the early days of Meghan and Harry’s relationship, the couple would have a date night at the Mulroney’s to avoid being seen in public. They all grew close, with Ben Mulroney noting how he calls Harry “H”, a nickname typically reserved for Harry’s closest friends, in an interview right after the engagement was announced.
All three of the children were part of the wedding party with their parent’s getting a front row seat.
After the wedding, Ben revealed how he thought he would be watching the ceremony on the monitors and was surprised he was sitting across from The Queen.
“I didn’t know this was going to happen,” he said of his seats to his fellow co-hosts on Your Morning.
“I walked in, and they showed me where I was seated and I thought to myself: ‘Well, that can’t be right.’”
On Friday, three days after arriving, Meghan flew back to London before returning to work this past Wednesday when she and Prince Harry attended a gala performance of Hamilton in support of Sentebale.
