The ‘Fab Four’ are no more – Harry & Meghan part ways from The Royal Foundation

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are parting ways from The Royal Foundation – the charity set up by Princes William and Harry.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will continue to work to stay on at The Foundation, but the Sussexes are leaving to set up their own charitable endeavour.

Buckingham Palace says the decision to part ways has been made because the two couples are now on ‘divergent paths.’

William & Harry attended a meeting on Wednesday where they signed documents to formally enact the split.

The Royal Foundation was established in 2009 and has particularly focused on major programmes in the areas of nature conservation, young people and veterans.

Such projects organised by the Foundation are The Invictus Games, United for Wildlife, the Endeavour Fund and Coach Core.

More recently, The Foundation has been helping coordinate the Heads Together campaign which works towards ending the stigma that currently surrounds mental health.
