American tabloid shares vicious rumours of The Queen’s death on social media

An American tabloid has falsely reported the death of The Queen in a cynical effort to gain followers.

The publication, which Royal Central has chosen not to name, claims they have a ‘royal exclusive’ in their reporting of The Queen’s demise.

In actual fact, Her Majesty is resting at home at Windsor Castle and continues to undertake light duties whilst recovering from Covid-19.

The publication shared the false information to their 2.8 million followers on Instagram.

The Queen tested positive for coronavirus over the weekend and is isolating at Windsor Castle.

As she is triple jabbed, the monarch has built up vital protection against the virus.

Unfortunately for ‘influencer journalists’, there is no immunity against stupidity, with deliberate falsehoods being spread on social media capitalising on Her Majesty’s health situation.

Each year, there are rumours circulated on social media of the passing of the monarch or a member of her family.
