The Queen arrived at Royal Ascot on the final day of the meeting in which she had four runners.
This is the first time Her Majesty has attended Royal Ascot in two years due to the global health emergency which has limited attendance.
Although it was known that the 95-year-old monarch would not be attending the meeting this year, it was hoped she would turn up on one or two days if she had runners.
Her Majesty arrived at Ascot wearing mint green and was greeted to a huge cheer.
On Tuesday, The Queen’s horse, King’s Lynn, ran in the King’s Stand Stakes for The Queen where he finished 7th.
After a quick turnaround, the four-year-old returned on Saturday to race in the Wokingham Stakes.
21 horses lined up in the race, with King’s Lynn finishing in a respectable 3rd position.
The Queen had three other runners earlier in the day.
In one of the most exciting races of the day, Reach For The Moon, ridden by Frankie Dettori, battled to the finishing line in a head-to-head dual with the Aidan O’Brien trained Point Lonsdale.
Unfortunately for The Queen, Point Lonsdale just managed to get his head in front, meaning Her Majesty had to settle for 2nd place.
In the Jersey Stakes, Her Majesty had two runners – Tactical and Light Refrain, neither of which finished near the front.
