King Charles III is crowned

The King is crowned.

Charles III was crowned with St. Edward’s Crown at Westminster Abbey just after noon on May 6th 2023.

The Archbishop of Canterbury carried out the Coronation.

Queen Camilla was crowned moments afterwards. Their Majesties were enthroned.

The Prince of Wales paid the Homage of the Royal Blood.

The congregation and everyone watching was then invited to join the Homage of the People.

King Charles III is the fortieth Monarch to be crowned in Westminster Abbey.
