King Charles all smiles as he attends church at Sandringham

King Charles has attended church at Sandringham, a week after leaving hospital.

His Majesty was at morning service at St. Mary Magdalene, accompanied by Queen Camilla.

The King and Queen waved to wellwishers as they made the short walk from Sandringham House to the church.

King Charles left hospital six days ago after a procedure for an enlarged prostate. This was his first public appearance since then.

His Majesty will rest for a few more days before resuming public engagements.

Queen Camilla, meanwhile, has been very busy in the past days, attending a church service at Bath Abbey to mark the 850th anniversary of the St. John’s Foundation, one of the oldest charities in England.

Her Majesty also opened the new Maggie’s Royal Free, a cancer support service at the Royal Free Hospital.

And her passion for dance was on show again, as she met Strictly star, Johannes Radebe, at a visit to the Meadows Community Centre in Cambridge to see the work of the Royal Volunteers Service at the community resource.

King Charles was admitted to hospital on January 26th 2024 and spent three nights at the London Clinic following his procedure.
