The family were spotted having a joyous time on the ski slopes and the protective parents ensured their two children were wearing helmets.
The two hard-working royals will no doubt be enjoying a brief break from their schedules, ahead of the the couple’s visit to Jamaica on March 2.
Both Edward and Sophie carry out hundreds of engagements each year on behalf of the Queen in the United Kingdom and around the world.
Last week, Sophie made a visit to Oxfordshire, where she helped a charity bury a time capsule.
The caring Countess, visited Dorchester Abbey, where she and Parents and Children Together (PACT) marked more than a 100 years of building and supporting families.
During her visit, six-year-old Nicheala asked the Countess what was inside her clutch bag. The mother-of-two was more than happy to reveal the contents of her bag, which she showed the youngster. Amongst the contents of her royal clutch was a handkerchief, make-up and face moisturiser.
