Zara and Mike Tindall name their daughter

Zara and Mike Tindall have named their newborn daughter.

The couple chose the name ‘Lena Elizabeth’, a lovely nod to Zara’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.

Lena is pronounced ‘Lay-na’.

Lena was born on 18 June at the Stroud Maternity Unit in Gloucestershire. She weighed 9lb 3oz.

The new baby is the heaviest royal baby to be born in over 100 years. The previous record holder was Prince Louis of Cambridge who weighed 8lbs and 6oz when he was born in April.

This is the second child for Zara and Mike Tindall who are also parents to four-year-old Mia Tindall.

She is the seventh great-grandchild of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip and 19th in line to the throne.
