
Queen Camilla led the Royal Family at a special service for the last King of Greece, Constantine II.
Constantine’s widow, Queen Anne-Marie, was joined by their five children at the commemoration which took place at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor.
Constantine II died in January 2023.
The King, who went into exile in 1974, had close links with many royal families.
His sister, Queen Sofia of Spain, attended along with her husband, King Juan Carlos, and their son, King Felipe. Queen Letizia was also present.
Princess Benedikte of Denmark, the sister of Anne-Marie, attended on behalf of the Danish royal family.
King Charles was unable to take part in the service as he continues to be treated for cancer.
The Prince of Wales, a godson of King Constantine, had to miss the commemoration at the last minute for personal reasons.
The Princess Royal and her husband, Tim Laurence, were in attendance as was the Duke of Kent who sat with his daughter, Lady Helen Taylor. Princess Alexandra of Kent joined them.
The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York also took part in the commemoration along with their elder daughter, Princess Beatrice, and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
Zara and Mike Tindall were present, too.
