
Prince William will take part in the COP30 Heads of State Summit where he will represent The King.
The Prince of Wales will join world leaders in Belem in Brazil.
It will come just days after he presents the 2025 Earthshot Prizes in Rio de Janeiro.
The Prince is also set to carry out engagements linked to Earthshot in the days after the awards ceremony.
On November 6, he’ll join leaders at the Heads of State Summit which is part of the Conference of Parties summit held every year under the UN Framework on Climate Change to discuss progress on environmental issues.
The Heads of State Summit is being held at Belem in Amazonia and will take place just before the main COP30 summit which this year will focus on speeding up the implementation of the Paris Agreement. This was adopted in 2015 and aims to tackle climate change by limiting global warming.
The COP30 Summit runs from 10 to 21 November and will see a wide range of debates taking place around new ‘national action plans’ around limiting global warming.
