King Charles and Queen Camilla announce State Visit to Italy by having dinner with Stanley Tucci

The King and Queen are to make a spring State Visit to Italy.

Their Majesties will head to Rome and Ravenna in April 2025 and the news has been confirmed with a dinner date with Stanley Tucci, the actor whose made his passion for Italian food into an obsession for millions.

On February 7th, King Charles and Queen Camilla will welcome the Oscar nominated star to Highgrove along with the Italian Ambassador to the UK, Inigo Lambertini, and his wife, Maria Grazia Lambertini, as they look ahead to their State Visit.

King Charles and Queen Camilla will be in Italy in early April for their State Visit, designed to promote ties between the two countries.

The King and Queen will make a State Visit to the Vatican City in early April as well.

Queen Elizabeth II was the first Monarch to make a State Visit to the Holy See. Charles III will be the first British King to undertake such a trip. Relations between Britain and the Vatican were restored by King George V, several centuries after King Henry VIII broke with Rome.
