Princess Maria Petrovna Galitzine, a descendent of the last Emperor of Austria, has died suddenly at the age of 31.
The princess, who was known by her married name of Maria Singh, died from an aneurysm in her heart.
Maria died in in the US state of Texas as confirmed by The Houston Chronicle on Wednesday.
A statement in the obituaries section of the paper read: “Our Maria passed away in the Houston morning of Monday, May 4th, 2020, from a sudden cardiac aneurysm.
“She was born in 1988 to Prince and Princess Piotr Galitzine in the city of Luxembourg, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.”
In 2017, Maria married chef Rishi Roop, and soon after welcomed their first child, Maxim.
Maria is survived by two-year-old Maxim and her husband Rishi.
