‘It’s a dream come true’ says Kate’s first family portrait dress designer

As the Duchess of Cambridge posed happily and relaxed with her son, Prince George and husband, Prince William, all eyes were on the new mum’s stunning dress.

Kate choose to wear a fuchsia knot dress from maternity brand Seraphine for the snaps and now the label’s founder Cecile Reinaud has spoken of her joy of seeing the future Queen in one of her designs.

“It is an immense honour that the Duchess chose a Seraphine dress,” Cecile told HELLO! Online.

The fuchsia dress became the second time Kate had chose to wear Seraphine since giving birth. In July, the Duchess was spotted in a blossom dress by the brand as her and William left Kensington Palace with a two-day old Prince George, as they departed for the Middleton family home in Bucklebury, Berkshire.

“It’s a dream come true to see that she likes my designs so much that she continues to wear them after the birth of Prince George,” the designer added.

“She looks radiant in our bright fuchsia design, it’s a perfect choice to show the world her happiness with her newborn and husband.”

On Tuesday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released the first official images of Prince George. The new parents decided to break with royal tradition and decided to release two family snaps from their personal collection.

The two images, which were taken by Michael Middleton, show the proud parents in the garden of the Middleton family home in Berkshire, and one photo includes their dog Lupo and Kate’s parents’ dog, Tilly.

It is now likely the next photos of the future heir will be released in the Autumn to coincide with his christening, which is predicted to take place in October when the Queen and the Duke of Edinburg return from their summer holiday in Scotland.
