Official images released of Queen of Thailand

The Royal Household Bureau of Thailand has released several images of the new Queen of Thailand, Suthida.

There are 20 images total showing Her Majesty in varying outfits from military uniforms to formal wear.

They announced that the public and government agencies are welcome to use all the images in honouring the Thai Royal Family.

Queen Suthida, 40, was born on 3 June 1978 in Hat Yai. She married His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn (also called King Rama X) on 1 May 2019, and he announced then his intent for her to be his consort. The King’s coronation was on 4 May, and Suthida was named Queen consort that same day.

The Thai government recently announced that her birthday, beginning this year, will be a national holiday from now on.
