‘You are not alone’ – the words of the Princess of Wales to all those being treated for cancer

As she revealed that she is undergoing treatment for cancer, the Princess of Wales had words for all those undergoing similar experiences.

In a heartfelt message confirming her diagnosis, the Princess reached out to those who are also being treated for the illness.

Catherine said ”At this time, I am also thinking of all those whose lives have been affected by cancer. For everyone facing this disease, in whatever form, please do not lose faith or hope. You are not alone.”

The Princess of Wales revealed that cancer had been found in tests carried out after she underwent major abdominal surgery in January.

Her Royal Highness revealed she is now receiving preventative chemotherapy and is in the early stages of her treatment programme.

She expressed her thanks to her medical team and also highlighted how hard she and the Prince of Wales are now working to look after their three young children, saying they are trying to ” explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be ok.
