Have you ever wanted to ask a king a question? You will finally have your chance as King Philippe of the Belgians is taking questions to celebrate his 65th birthday!
Well, we think he is. It was actually his four children who made the announcement as their papa marked his big day. Heir to the throne, Princess Elisabeth, along with her siblings, Prince Gabriel, Prince Emmanuel, and Princess Elenore took to social media to help celebrate their father’s milestone day and to invite the public to submit questions for the king.
According to the four – aged between 17 and 23 – their dad is up for answering. Philippe himself wasn’t seen.

The four siblings paired up for a video explaining the plan for everyone with King Philippe’s elder son, Prince Gabriel, explaining that they can ask him a question any time but they want to make it easier for everyone else.
And so the Belgian royal family has set up a website called ‘the king answers” or, in French, Le Roi Repond. The public can submit their questions before 24 April 2025 at LeRoiReponde.be.
The popular King of the Belgians marked his 65th birthday on 15 April. He took the throne in 2013 when his father, King Albert, abdicated.
His wife, Queen Mathilde, and their four children, are also popular and are regularly seen attending royal events. Princess Elisabeth is currently attending Harvard Kennedy School for her masters and Prince Gabriel is studying at the Royal Military Academy in Brussels.
