The future queen about to make an important debut

The heir to the throne of the Netherlands is to make an important debut at a major event.

For the first time, Princess Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands will take part in a State Visit.

The Princess of Orange will join her parents, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima, as they welcome the King and Queen of Spain to the Netherlands for a two day visit in April.

Princess Amalia, 20, will be present at the State Banquet, the glittering showpiece of the important stay.

It’s an important debut for the heir to the throne who will, one day, be responsible for hosting State Visits to her country herself.

Catharina-Amalia is currently a student, completing her university education, but takes part in some events with her parents and her grandmother, Princess Beatrix.

King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain make their State Visit to the Netherlands on April 17th and 18th 2024.
