Queen Maxima happy to travel abroad again

The pandemic put a severe brake on most royal activity, worldwide. Perhaps the biggest was related to travel. For them, like many, the solution was digital travel over the internet. Nevertheless, this was by no means the same, and did not attract nearly the attention that a real royal journey does.

It is probably no secret that the royals are happy to be able to travel again, meet people and see the world.

One of the royals that has now put word on her joy for traveling again is the Dutch Queen. During a journey to Ivory Coast she shared her joy of traveling again.

Her Majesty said: “I am very happy to be back travelling after all those Zoom talks. It is nice to be back here again”.

The Queen of the Netherlands shared her enthusiasm for travelling again during her four-day visit. Queen Maxima arrived in Ivory Coast on June 12 2022 and is scheduled to travel four days before returning home.

The Queen of the Netherlands is making her journey as an ambassador of the United Nations. In the Ivory Coast the Queen has attended meetings related to aid to the African nation. This is the first field visit the Queen has made on behalf of the UN since the coronavirus crisis broke out.
